Private Kaskazi Kayak Trip

Cape Town

Activity Description

Given the current Covid-19 situation, kayaking with Kaskazi Kayaks And Adventures is an ideal way to get out in the open air while easily maintaining social distancing. Our groups are limited to 12 guests and we meet on the beach at Three Anchor Bay for the safety briefing and launch so everything is in open air and it is easy maintain social distancing The small group provides a more intimate experience with a dedicated fleet of pirate themed kayaks.

We have the ideal location to launch and explore the Table Bay coastline from the sea providing unique and spectacular photo opportunities. We operate from the beach at Three Anchor Bay where all our kayaks are stored. From Three Anchor Bay we embark on a 3 – 5 km journey either towards Granger Bay or Bantry Bay.

The view of Signal Hill, Lion’s Head, Table Mountain and the 12 Apostles is unforgettable. Uninterrupted views of our spectacular mountain range and the sea breeze will leave you feeling rejuvenated and hungry to taste more of what the Mother City has to offer.

The trip to Granger Bay takes us past the Green Point Lighthouse, the wrecks of the Seafarer and RMS Athens and to one of the favourite hangouts for our endemic Heaviside’s dolphins. They are common companions to our trips – particularly on summer mornings.

Customer Reviews

Sabri and the team were very patient, and helpful from the time I first made contact to arrange a group tour. We had to reschedule due to the weather but it resulted in us having a wonderful morning out at sea with some amazing wildlife encounters. Thanks Team, we will see you again! - Susana

As a fairly regular paddler off the Atlantic seaboard, I took my family and two friends on a Private Paddling Tour with Kaskazi on the 5th of Jan 24 for them to experience this wonderful coastline.....and what an Amazing experience it was ! Rudi and his team are true professionals and luck was clearly on our side as well. We had the most incredible sighting of 5 Sun Fish, with two of them swimming up to our Ski's and around us for about 15 minutes. The Sun Fish had barely left, when a raft of Penquins with young ones swam past us. The Penquins had just disappeared, heading South, when a Seal popped-up. As if we had not been treated enough by mother nature, two pods of Dolphins swam past us on our way back. Thanks Kaskazi, my Girls and our friends are still talking about this Amazing experience and our pictures will keep these memories alive in years to come !! - Merlin
