Kaskazi Kayak Trip

Cape Town

Activity Description

Kaskazi Kayaks has the ideal location to launch and explore the Table Bay coastline from the sea providing unique and spectacular photo opportunities. We operate from the beach at Three Anchor Bay where all our kayaks are stored. From Three Anchor Bay we embark on a 3 – 5 km journey either towards Granger Bay or Bantry Bay.

The view of Signal Hill, Lion’s Head, Table Mountain and the 12 Apostles is unforgettable. Uninterrupted views of our spectacular mountain range and the sea breeze will leave you feeling rejuvenated and hungry to taste more of what the Mother City has to offer.

The trip to Granger Bay takes us past the Green Point Lighthouse, the wrecks of the Seafarer and RMS Athens and to one of the favourite hangouts for our endemic Heaviside’s dolphins. They are common companions to our trips – particularly on summer mornings.

Customer Reviews

Fantastic trip. I have taken friends and family on Kaskazi trips several times and it has always been wonderful. It's safe, fun and easy for beginners and children. Definitely on the must-do list for Cape Town. - Bronwyn Keene Young

Had the most amazing out with Kaskazi. Also appreciate their flexibility as the weather want behaving but they kept me updated on options. When we finally went out, the sea was amazing and the dolphins came out to play. Highly recommend Kaskazi - One Dintwe

Great excursion! Took my girlfriend on the morning trip and we managed to see dolphins and sun fish as we paddled along the coastline. Guides were both great and always made sure we were comfortable and safe. Would definitely recommend this to people whether you're a local or just visiting. I grew up in Cape Town and it was a way to see it from a new perspective. - Kyle Chowles

It was a lovely experience that I would love to do again! Thank you for providing the opprtunity, guides and equipment to do the experience that I will remember forever. - Tamar

Outstanding. We went out on 1 March and didn't take the usual route because of wind.. it worked out well though because we soon came across 2 frolicking whales within meters of us! The team was super professional to make sure that everyone was safe, and also took incredible photos that were emailed soon after. Truly an unforgettable experience. - Sindi-Leigh McBride
